SRIT

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-11

Effective date: 2026-05-16

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Craftudy Ltd ("we", "us", "SRIT"), the operator of the SRIT platform at app.srit.app and its mobile applications.

By creating an account, accessing, or using SRIT you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and account responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use SRIT.
  • You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your account details up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at support@srit.app immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • You may use SRIT only for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Sharing your account credentials with others is not permitted.
  • One account per person. We may merge or close duplicate accounts.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

Paid features of SRIT are accessible through subscription plans described on our pricing page. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Subscriptions are charged through our payment provider, Paystack, in Nigerian naira (NGN).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account in the SRIT app. Cancellation prevents future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified by email at least 14 days before a price change takes effect at their next renewal.
  • Failed renewals will result in a grace period during which we will attempt to re-charge. If payment continues to fail, your subscription will be marked past-due and access may be downgraded to the free tier until you update payment information.

4. Refunds

Our refund policy:

  • Within 7 days of an initial purchase: we will refund the full amount on request, no questions asked, provided the subscription has not been substantially consumed.
  • After 7 days: refunds are at our discretion. We will issue a refund where there has been a verifiable service-side issue (extended outage, inability to access paid content despite an active subscription). For voluntary changes of mind beyond the 7-day window we may issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are processed via Paystack and typically settle to the original card within 3–7 business days.
  • To request a refund, email support@srit.app with your account email and the transaction reference.

Mobile subscriptions purchased through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing (if and when those become available) are subject to the refund policies of Apple and Google respectively; we cannot directly refund those transactions and you must request refunds through the relevant platform.

5. Content and licensing

The educational content on SRIT — including notes, illustrations, videos, audio, question banks, explanations, and curricula — is owned by Craftudy Ltd or licensed to us by our content contributors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view this content for your personal educational use, for as long as your subscription remains active.

You may not:

  • Copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly display SRIT content;
  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically download SRIT content with any tool other than the SRIT app itself;
  • Use SRIT content to train machine learning models without our prior written consent;
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices;
  • Use SRIT to provide a similar competing service.

Content you create on SRIT — such as chat messages, Question Bank answers, and notes — remains yours. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and process that content as necessary to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your contributions.

6. Acceptable use

When using SRIT you agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law;
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users in chat or any other interactive feature;
  • Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes anyone's rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to SRIT, its systems, or other users' accounts;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service through automated attacks, excessive request volumes, or any form of abuse;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of SRIT;
  • Misrepresent your identity, professional qualifications, or affiliation when interacting with other users.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion. Severe or repeated violations may lead to permanent account termination without refund.

7. Medical content disclaimer

SRIT provides educational material for surgical residents and other medical trainees. Content on the platform is intended for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice for specific patients or clinical situations.

Clinical decisions must always be made by a qualified clinician with reference to the patient in front of them and to current local guidelines. SRIT is not a substitute for professional clinical judgement, formal training, or qualified supervision. We expressly disclaim liability for any clinical outcome arising from a user's reliance on platform content in a real patient-care setting.

8. Account termination

By you: you may close your account at any time by emailing support@srit.app. Closing your account cancels any active subscription effective at the end of the current period and removes or anonymises your personal information per our Privacy Policy.

By us: we may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or engage in conduct that materially harms the service or other users. We will give reasonable notice where possible.

9. Disclaimers

SRIT is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Content accuracy is reviewed before publication but medicine evolves rapidly and SRIT may not reflect the most recent clinical consensus on any given topic.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Craftudy Ltd and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of SRIT.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The Last updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. For material changes that affect your rights — such as changes to pricing, refund policy, or acceptable use — we will notify you by email or through the service before the change takes effect. Continued use of SRIT after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

The courts located in Lagos, Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of SRIT, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

13. Entire agreement; severability

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SRIT regarding your use of the service. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
